With roots in Vijayawada, AP but 25 years of life in Hyderabad, I felt torn. The separation from Andhra Pradesh carried weight, leaving me emotionally unsettled. But over time, understanding replaced hesitation, and I saw clearly why this fight was necessary. Telangana’s struggle was never about division it was about identity, about securing its own future, its resources, and its rightful recognition. Today, I stand in deep gratitude for the land I call mine for Hyderabad, the city that shaped me, for the communities that welcomed me, and for the spirit of Telangana that continues to inspire.
