Female friendships. As complicated as these friendships are, they’re nothing short of profound love, unconditional support and an immeasurable amount of laughter in life. My gratitude for a few incredible women I have in my life is immense, and life has been infinitely more beautiful because of them. It’s been almost 23 years since Pinky happened to me and she tops this list. From being just someone I adored as a woman to being my soul sister, my go to person, MY PERSON.. we’ve come a long way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this woman. She sheltered me during the scariest storms in life, warming my heart. She picked me up when I felt like I was in a deep, dark cave. She helped me realise I will always be ENOUGH. She made sure I put myself first and helped me understand that I deserve THE BEST! It wasn’t easy, but she also made sure I didn’t run away from LOVE.
