Have you ever ran into a gator while wade fishing?!? I HAVE! 🫣🐊🎣 Before I moved to South FL….I was living on the Mississippi Coast & fishing what is technically called the “Sound”…. shallow, brackish water…however there is a sandy beach. The closest “beach” to New Orleans! Anyway, I wade fished in front of my house everyday & one day it happened…I saw a gator just feet from me while I was fishing waist deep! The same moment I noticed the gator…my rod was BENT over! The beaches in the area I lived in are pretty desolate. I was postive I had hooked the gator & was so scared! I finally saw someone jogging far away and screamed for help….turns out I only had a bigass stingray on, but reported the gator as you can see!
