Celebrated the beginning of Fall under the Falls! 🍂💦🐟 I can’t tell you how happy I was to have the entire place to myself! I’ve been waiting months for the swimmers to go away! 😆 I gotta take advantage of this place while I can! In just a couple weeks all of the “Leaf Peepers” will be in town & this waterfall will be taken over by tourists once again. Then come winter…the Blue Ridge Parkway will close and I won’t be able to access it. I’ve never caught so many Native Appalachian Brook Trout under these falls back to back till this past weekend! They were HUNGRY and they hit my dry fly almost every cast! You know that Butterstick makes things fun!
