Right before I moved from South Florida up to Asheville, I started fly fishing for Peacock Bass and was pretty successful. For some reason I wasn’t catching many largemouth bass on fly though. Lately when I can’t fish the river, I’ve been heading to a neighborhood lake to work on my skills. I’ve caught a few little bass & TONS of panfish using my 5wt & a little black & white popper! Today I caught my biggest largemouth on the fly! It was no where near my biggest on a spin rod, but it satisfied me 🥰 What is your favorite to use when fishing for largemouth bass?
