My heart is so full ❤️
Many of you probably don’t know that I am a former severe special education teacher. I worked for a few years and then the “burn out” hit. I was physically and mentally sick from the everyday stress of my job in the public school system. Although I absolutely loved my kiddos, I felt it best to resign. I grieved about not seeing my students grow up, not using my teaching degree, wondering if they could ever find a teacher who cared as much about them as I did.
In my grieving, I taught myself to fish as a form of therapy. Over the years, I have taken so many young kids fishing. I have found my PASSION…I’m still able to use my teaching skills, but in a different (no stress) environment!
