Eleven years ago, A Moment of Magic began with a simple idea: that joy, connection, and play belong everywhere, especially in the hardest places. Thank you for being part of these first eleven years — for believing in this work, showing up with heart, and helping turn a simple idea into something real. From the very beginning, this work has been about imagining a more human, hopeful, and heartfelt approach to care. Over the years, that vision has taken shape in real ways. Together, we’ve partnered with more than 400 hospitals and nonprofit organizations, served children in all 50 states and 7 countries, activated over 4,000 college student volunteers from more than 30 colleges and universities, and impacted more than 185,000 medically vulnerable children. And we’re just getting started. Together, we are creating a world where healing-centered play is a standard part of care. Where mental health support shows up early and accessibly.
