Running a business and chasing a big dream has come with some really incredible moments that I’ve been lucky to experience and share on social media. But 99.99% of the “luck” is the work that most people don’t see. The parts that are way less curated, not as sparkly, and when usually wearing leggings and much less makeup. The “luck” is in the moments I’m sending a cold email, strategizing for endless hours on meetings with my team, or packing and carrying dozens of boxes of in-kind donations. It’s in the reading and the research, the hyperfocusing on little details, and energizing your team even when your cup is empty. It’s in taking the big swings to get multiple no’s a day, just for the possibility of a yes that can make it all worth it. It’s the relationship building.
