Today was one of those founder days.
The kind where time plays tricks on you.
Always a little behind —the emails unanswered, the to-do lists that never shrink, calendars and inboxes filling up fast. Maybe being a little stuck in the past too — a little preoccupied by the event you weren’t invited to, the opportunity that wasn’t the right fit, or the thing that just never came through. It’s that feeling that if you were just faster or better, maybe you’d be where you’re “supposed” to be by now.
And yet, somehow, also too far ahead — your brain racing to what’s next, the next goal, the next challenge, the next door you’re hoping will open. The missed opportunity that lingers. The ‘what if’ that tugs at you. The “no” or “not yet” that lingers longer than it should. Are those the moments that change your trajectory forever? Some days, it feels like yes.
That’s where I was stuck today. Between the weight of what I hadn’t done yet and the pressure of what I’m supposed to do next.
