The long wait is over y’all!! Here’s the reveal of my daughter’s reading nook. This is Part 1 of her bedroom makeover and we’re both happy that it’s complete. This project has been so rewarding for me. I took a leap and wadded into new areas of construction that I’ve never ventured into before and unlocked some skills that have increased my confidence in this craft. I had the pleasure of working with @weaberlumber by using their poplar and maple boards that allowed me to construct the drawers, shelves, face frames and bookcase stretchers on this project. Not only did they provide great quality wood, they also offered tremendous support and guidance throughout my building process. Part 2 of her bedroom makeover will begin soon. We’ll be installing a new light fixture, wallpaper, window treatments and a building a desk/vanity. I hope you guys join me as I continue on this journey.
