Listen up ladies. You can build this too. I started my DIY journey a few years ago after I turned 50. I was empowered by other woman I watched on this platform, through their blogs and YouTube channels. I studied the craft by reading, watching, and then trying. I started with small projects and a few tools and once I felt I was ready I moved on to bigger projects and each time I would add a new tool. My confidence grew and my family and friends became my biggest cheerleaders. Do I make mistakes along the way? Absolutely. I don’t like it, but I realize that making mistakes has helped me become a better craftswoman. So to all the ladies who’ve said to me that you couldn’t do this, I’m here to empower, inspire, encourage and let you know that YOU can do it too. All it takes is that first step. Dig deep.
