They say choosing your life partner is the biggest financial decision you’ll ever make. ⬇️ But don’t marry because of money. Marry someone you can build a rich life TOGETHER. When my husband and I met, we were broke a** college students. No fancy dates. No savings. But what we did have was a shared vision. So we started saving for our future plans. We saved for a down payment on a house while we lived separately with our parents for 2 years. We saved for our wedding before he even popped the big question of “Will you marry me?” We saved ahead to be able to travel the world. Over the years we have deduced that it is not about finding someone who has it all. It’s about growing with someone who wants to build it with you. And sure, there will be many bumpy roads and sacrifices to be made. Like compromising on budgets or choosing to sacrifice on certain spend areas.
