Today on International Women’s Day, I’m honoring the woman who made Spilling the Sweet Tea possible… my mama ❤️ Long before there were cameras, cookbooks, or millions of views, there was a little girl standing in the kitchen watching her mama cook. She taught me how to season food, how to stretch a meal, how to feed people with love, and how memories are made around the table. The recipes I share today, the stories I tell, and the love I have for Southern cooking all started with her. There would be no Spilling the Sweet Tea without my mama. Her legacy lives on in every recipe I share and every memory I put on a plate.
