I still remember the early days of my career walking into meeting rooms or joining dev teams and realizing I was the only woman there. It was challenging, sometimes isolating, but it shaped how deeply I care about representation in tech. Last week, I attended the Women in AI Breakfast at the Ignite Infra AI Summit by WEKA and once again, I found myself being the only woman attending from Pakistan. It was a proud moment, but also a clear reminder: we still have a long way to go when it comes to representation in AI and tech. A place where women are given equal opportunities, especially in spaces like AI and cloud, where the future is being built.
