[@loropiana - Workshop of Wonders concept] 📍Department Store - 87-135 Brompton Rd - London SW1X 7XL - UK To celebrate its centenary, LVMH’s Italian cashmere label is investing the immense façade of @harrods, London’s most prestigious department store, with an impressive luminous decoration recounting the journey of a fiber, « first light as a cloud, then transported in balls on a conveyor belt and floating through ingenious mechanisms to transform itself into a piece of fabric ». All culminating in a 17-metre-high Christmas tree decorated with fabric garlands. Until January 2, the project will be accompanied by two ephemeral stores set up at Harrods, with workshops and various animations, and 36 window displays decorated in Loro Piana colors, recounting the epic story of the house founded in 1924 by Pietro Loro Piana, as well as the origins of its wools from Mongolia, Australia and the Andes.
