For centuries across Northern Europe, the twelve nights following the winter solstice were a time of quiet magic — gathering stories, tending the hearth, and marking the slow return of the light.
Beginning December 9, I’ll share The 12 Plants of Yule — one plant, tree, or shrub each day, leading us to the solstice on December 21. These are familiar plants, native or long-naturalized in the Northeast, each offering its own lesson in protection, rest, renewal, or boundary.
Each day will include a simple way to work with the plant — a tea, a scent, a small craft, or a moment of noticing — grounded in everyday herbalism and shaped by winter itself.
I’d love for you to join me LIVE as we move through the dark and welcome the light back together. Stay tuned next week and drop a 🌲if you want me to send you materials before each LIVE session.
