Wild geranium—or cranesbill—is blooming right now in New England woods and, if you’re lucky, in your garden. Its soft pink flowers and deeply lobed leaves are easy to spot this time of year…but the season is fleeting.
Traditionally, it’s the root that carries the strongest medicine—rich in tannins that tighten tissues, calm irritation, and help stop minor bleeding, making it an incredible ally for gum health.
