Woke up to an incredible Colorado sunrise after a fall snowstorm in the mountains. We stayed up at my pal David’s off-grid cabin at 11,700’ and spent the evening enjoying some hearty steaks and sharing adventure stories as the wind and snow buffeted the cabin throughout the night. The antique wood oven still had a couple embers left when we woke up, and after a few cups of coffee, everyone had to dig out the trail to get the trucks down the mountainside.
