Story time…. This weekend I had the opportunity to take a crew of journalists on an overnight with seatosummit for a little overlanding adventure. They brought along a few rigs from titusadventureco and I had both of my trucks with me. After a night of enjoying good food and good company, we hit an easy trail, and they headed on back to Denver. Since it was still early, my pal keghanobrien and I figured we’d hit an alpine pass in the Tacoma just for fun via a lesser known gulch near Leadville. Unfortunately, before we even got to the main trail, we busted a CV axel joint on the drivers side, and had to limp the truck down the trail and all the way to Frisco, where the gang at specialized_truck were there waiting on us. Overall an awesome adventure, and looks like I’ll be heading back to Frisco to snag the Tacoma later this week.
