Was out camping a few weeks ago and tried to duplicate the Miso Black Cod recipe from noburestaurants. Had it at their Malibu location a few years back and it rich, flakey, and packed with flavor, and I always wondered if I could make it off grid. Used regular frozen cod and marinated it in sugar, sake, mirin, and miso paste. Would’ve been a 10/10 if I could have sourced some fresh black cod! Anyone know where to find some? . . . . . .
