METAVERSE 💫 What exactly is it? Pretty sure you've heard of this word lately, however as a concept it is not new. It is becoming a hype due to improvement of internet connectivity and graphics. Metaverse as a term is very broad, but it can be defined as a virtual-reality space where users can interact with computer-generated environment and other users which are not necessarily in the same physical space. Currently, tech industry is defining a digital platform as metaverse which includes some of these things: ▪︎functionalities combining virtual and real world ▪︎real-time 3D environments & avatars ▪︎creating virtual items and environments ▪︎designs that support AR headsets even if they normally support other hardware. Simply said, it is a term for a future where the digital world that feels more connected to our real lives. I am not an expert on metaverse, but I've been reading on this lately so thought to share.
