🎈🎈Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of hosting my long-time friend and one of Nigeria’s finest musical exports — Iyanya — at the iconic Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort. Our journey goes back 17 years… to shortly after he emerged victorious from MTN Project Fame West Africa. I still remember when he came visiting in Lagos alongside the then dynamic duo KC Presh — moments that marked the beginning of a friendship that has stood the test of time. Today, Iyanya’s music continues to transcend generations — a testament to talent, discipline, and reinvention. He wasn’t alone. He came through with his brother, his digital manager, and Lybra — another promising homegrown talent carrying the torch forward. Moments like this remind us: “Greatness is not just about talent — it’s about consistency, relationships, and evolution”.
