✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ The beautiful and ethereal architecture of Capilla de las Almas beautifully captured by _travelliving!!! 📸 Also known as the “Chapel of Souls”, this beautiful landmark is a relatively small, but gorgeous church located in Porto (Northern Portugal), which is considered as one of the oldest historic centres of Europe. It is located in the lovely Rua de Santa Caterina, a cavalcade of the most beautiful chapels decorated with typical Oporto flair, with blue Portugese tiles. The Chapel of Souls was built at the beginning of the 18th century, while the blue and white tiles were covered in 1929. The tile work was realized in the first half of the 20th century (1929) by Eduardo Leite. From the outside, the observer can enjoy the stunning view of its surface fully covered with blue and white ceramic tiles called azulejos.
