[My thoughts on science - what science cannot prove]
1. Logical and mathematical facts
Logic and maths are required as precondition to construct science and to argue that we can prove them by science is a wrong circular argument. If science presupposes logic and maths to exist, arguing otherwise is a false cause fallacy - see my previous post for fallacy theory.
2. Metaphysical truths
The concept of love; the past was not created 7 minutes ago without the existence of time or falling from earth to infinitely far away, you would never arrive are examples of metaphysical beliefs that cannot be proven in laboratory.
3. Ethical beliefs about statement of values
You cannot use science to judge whether what Nazi’s scientists did at the concentration camp was evil, as opposed to the scientists in America or Australia.
4. Personal esthetic judgment
Beauty or your musical preferences cannot be justified by science. Ask yourself: how to prove whether something is beautiful or ugly by sci...
