🇬🇧 What do you think of this church? it is the Canovian temple of Possagno. Canoviano because it was not only designed by Canova but also financed. The front part is inspired by Partenone while the central one with the dome pierced by the Pantheon. Personally, I really liked this aggregation of classic references Behind the church there is a rather nice walk, or rather a Way of the Cross that leads to an old convent that offered protection to British soldiers in World War II 🇮🇹 Cosa ne pensate di questa chiesa? si tratta del tempio Canoviano di Possagno. Canoviano perché non solo fu progettato da Canova ma pure finanziato. La parte frontale è ispirata al Partenone mentre quella centrale con la cupola bucata al Pantheon.
