Today, the @unitednations General Assembly reached agreement on the first-ever Global Compact for Migration. The Compact will cover all aspects of #migration: benefits, challenges, and opportunities. Migration is a global issue that needs a global response. There are currently some 258 million migrants in the world seeking better lives for themselves and their families. . The agreement is a moment to remember that international cooperation matters to people’s lives.
