Today I delivered the keynote at MNP’s Black History Month event, speaking on allyship, inclusion, and the discipline of examining our own biases so we can lead better, support better, and build stronger organizations. What stood out to me was the room itself. Professionals across all levels, showing up with openness, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to growth. Allyship is not a title. It is not a statement. It is a continuous practice of listening, reflecting, and acting with intention. In governance, risk, and leadership, we often speak about controls, frameworks, and accountability. Inclusion belongs in that same conversation. When leaders are willing to challenge assumptions and confront blind spots, they strengthen trust, culture, and decision quality across the enterprise. I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to this dialogue and to witness the spirit of allyship present within the firm. Progress happens when awareness turns into action. #Leadership #Allyship #Inc...
