Since 2000, global efforts against malaria have saved an estimated 6.8 million lives. The U.S. government is the largest contributor to programs that combat malaria through its support for the @globalfund and the President’s Malaria Initiative, as well as the work of @unitednations agencies like the @WHO, @UNICEF, and @refugees.
