A woman walks back and forth to the water pump collecting and storing water due to the reality that this particular area only receives water twice a week for two hours at a time. . In many parts of the world, including cities, climate change is contributing to greater drought conditions and causing water security issues throughout the developed and developing worlds. In almost every case, the poor feel the worst of the impacts, especially women and children who are forced to work even harder to access freshwater resources.
