Congratulations, oneplus.nepal! đŸ„ł While smartphones have become more powerful, one thing barely changed — battery capacity. The 5,000mAh standard has held for over half a decade. That’s why the Redmi Note series launching at the start of 2025 with slightly larger batteries felt refreshing. Three of the four models only added around 110mAh, but it was still nice to see the “standard” finally move (the Note 14 4G even hit 5,500mAh). By February, we were seeing 6,000mAh phones, and in March, the Honor X9c arrived with a monstrous 6,600mAh cell — the biggest in Nepal at the time. But in the latter part of the year, even 6,600mAh started looking small. Phones like the Oppo A6 Pro, Realme 15T, and Redmi 15 now offer 7,000mAh batteries, making it feel like the 5,000mAh isn’t the “industry standard” anymore.
