... some weekends are better spent in retreats and review meetings. While there are shocks and uncertainties all around yet, we must find the courage to design the future we want to see. This is perhaps one of the most intriguing things I have found with board/management retreats. We discuss real economic instability. Agree on how competitive some markets are. Regulations and other stakeholders may not even be giving any positive signal, but yet, we leverage data with a lot of guts to create profitable ventures.
