I'm sure you've heard it before that Nigerian graduates are unemployable 😁. It's one of those *generalisations* and incomplete statements that's strong in the system based on the varying experiences of some... Well, I strongly believe otherwise. Younger folks coming into the work space just want to be given more opportunities, the safe spaces to learn, and make their mistakes as they navigate the murky waters of corporate life. The issue of inadequate job supply is another critical part of the puzzle. I'm not in any way trying to dismiss the challenges that's associated with finding young talents that are willing to put in the shift. The need is even more severe as we look at the talent need/gap in non-flashy sectors or mid sized firms that more and more young professionals are unwilling to work in.
