Just when I needed the right images to capture my thoughts on women in the workplace, our official photographer captured this beautiful moment last week as I moderated a panel session at work. Random thoughts; 1. I'm so happy to see the narrative about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) go beyond just mere representation to competent participation of more capable women at the highest level of leadership in different organizations. 2. We are seeing more success stories about women succeeding in previously male dominated roles and industries. More importantly, these stories are readily available across platforms even when they aren't deliberately part of some PR game for the female exec. 3. Number 2 provides a wide range of options for younger female professionals who are new entrants in the workplace to be inspired by.
