Trimming your plants is a GOOD thing! | share, save and follow @reenasplants for plant care tips I often get comments from people asking if cutting their plant will hurt it. As long as you cut between notes, and you don’t cut petioles and leaves off of your plant, it will be totally fine! The places you cut will start pushing out new growth, even sometimes pushing out more growth than previously, and the cuttings you took can be rooted to create new plants or be planted back into the original plant! There are of course certain varieties of plants that propagate a different differently, but for the most part, Monstera, philodendron, Pothos, string of plants all work this way! what plants in your collection would you like to propagate? . . . . #plantcaretips #houseplantcare #propagation #variegatedplants how to propagate a plant | how to take plant cuttings
