🌿TIPS FOR PROPAGATING PLANTS | Share + Save🌿 Propagating is such a fun activity and a great way to get more plants in your home, but there’s a few tips I follow to make sure I have the greatest success ☺️ 💚 The most important thing in my opinion is the timing of when you take the cutting. You don’t want to take a cutting from a plant that’s thirsty, the cutting won’t be firm and hydrated, and there will be a lower chance of success. I always take cuttings the day after or a couple days after watering the plant to make sure that the leaves and vines are hydrated. 💚 The second most important thing is to make sure your shears or scissors are clean. I use an alcohol pad, which you can find a box of at your CVS or grocery store! This ensures you’re not passing bacteria, or pests between plants! 💚 Finally, I like to take more than just one cutting when I’m propagating a plant.
