🌿TIPS FOR PROPAGATING PLANTS | Share + Save🌿 Propagating is such a fun activity and a great way to get more plants in your home, but there’s a few tips I follow to make sure I have the greatest success ā˜ŗļø šŸ’š The most important thing in my opinion is the timing of when you take the cutting. You don’t want to take a cutting from a plant that’s thirsty, the cutting won’t be firm and hydrated, and there will be a lower chance of success. I always take cuttings the day after or a couple days after watering the plant to make sure that the leaves and vines are hydrated. šŸ’š The second most important thing is to make sure your shears or scissors are clean. I use an alcohol pad, which you can find a box of at your CVS or grocery store! This ensures you’re not passing bacteria, or pests between plants! šŸ’š Finally, I like to take more than just one cutting when I’m propagating a plant.
