FRUIT CRACKING: Splitting or cracking of fruits usually occurs from erratic weather conditions during the growing season. This is usually either due to change in water stress and temperature fluctuation. We recently experience a heavy rainfall for several hours and this is the cause of the fruit cracking. The rapid water absorption from the rain makes the fruit inside grow much faster than the skin.
