We sent post cards home from Nigeria Yes you remember post cards? Or am I dating myself? These little messages we would send by mail when traveling back home. Sometimes they would take months to deliver especially from far away countries. Before email it was the only way your family knew you were still okay unless you wanted to pay a lot for a phone call. The post card costs $0.33 but around $8 to send it. Funny enough it was cheaper to send to Samoa that it was to Europe.
