We had such a nice trip to Nicaragua! 🇳🇮 If you’re planning to come, definitely check out veraecoresort in the cloud forest region of Matagalpa. They’re doing some really great work helping the local community there and I am so happy we were able to come out and see what they’re doing. Vera Eco Resort is a resort, restaurant, and farm where all the profit goes back into supporting their school for underprivileged children in the north of Nicaragua. Almost all the food is grown onsite including the coffee in a sustainable manner giving the students an opportunity to learn about agriculture and tourism management through the school among many other subjects.
