I visited four countries in just one day One of the unique things about this area of Europe around Liechtenstein is that you can easily visit four countries in a single day. In fact you can probably do it before lunch if you rushed. Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries in Europe and it’s located between Austria and Switzerland making a visit to both very easy. But it is very close to the German border as well making for an effortless four country day. We took the unique Christmas Ferry from Bregenz to Lindau for the Christmas markets. It was a beautiful day. Previously this would have been difficult to do with all the passport control but now with Schengen zone borders this was a breeze.
