✨ Dermaplaning 101 ✨ For my fellow estheticians (and those trying it at home), here are my top tips: The most important step is starting with extremely clean skin. Using a surgical blade is key—the dermaplaning blades sold on Amazon or at the store can cause micro-tears. If you do not have access to a surgical blade, I recommend using a men’s Gillette Fusion 5 razor and shaving downward instead. After dermaplaning, I always suggest following with high frequency to kill any lingering bacteria.
