Living alone in Singapore isn’t cheap 💸😭
But for me, the space, the quiet, and the mental clarity are worth it. 🥺 In this video, I shared a cost breakdown of the real expenses of living alone in Singapore. Figures are largely rounded up.
Rent is my biggest expense, followed by the little things that add up like, utilities, groceries, transport, food. I’ve learned to be more intentional with how I spend, cook simpler meals, and cut back on things I don’t actually need.
Since the start of this year, I’ve been tracking my expenses, not to restrict myself, but to be more mindful. Because impulse spending is very real, and awareness makes a difference.
This is what living alone looks like for me right now.
It may not be for everyone, but it’s helping me grow 🤍
I’ll be sharing how I track my expenses so stay tuned 🙆🏻♀️🥰
