Over 50% of the population in the coastal region of Kenya are young people. This means that there is a vast potential for their contribution to the economic development of the region and the country as a whole. I am excited to have spearheaded the - Kilifi County X plpafrica Digital skills training Scholarship launch and MOU signing, where we awarded the Power Learn Project Software Development Scholarship to 500 young people in the county. This is a significant milestone in our journey to #1MillionDevs4Africa, and I am confident that these young people will use their skills to build a brighter future for themselves, their communities, and the country.
