CHAPTER 40. I remember turning 30. 
Sitting in a restaurant. Smiling through tears.
Posting a photo that said “happy,” when I was anything but. I was in a relationship that broke me.
Working a “dream job” that dimmed my light.
And I had no idea that by the next summer,
I’d lose the most important person in my life. When I turned 31, I blew out my candles and asked God “What are You trying to teach me?” Turns out, He was preparing me.
For love that was real.
For motherhood that changed everything.
For friendships that grounded me.
For work that fulfills me.
And for the peace that comes when you finally find yourself. Now, as I step into 40,
I do so softer, wiser, stronger.
Anchored in faith, not fear.
Grateful for the climb, and ready for what’s next. Here’s to thriving.
