Road trip in New Zealand. Head 50km north of Auckland to historic and beautiful Puhoi~ Matakana~ ~tawharanui-regional-park. We wanted easy road trip today. Google says about 2h from Auckland. It took us whole day 9am to 6pm. . . . Who knew that cows run so fast? Other than Spain.👏 . . Tips: Auckland seems like pretty small city. If you have limited time, the best thing to do is just rent a camper and sleep in the nature. New Zealand is pretty expensive. Some reason not much airbnb, hotels and hostels available compared to other countries. If you have English written driver licence, you can drive without the international license. Or else you can get translated your country license for about $50. .
