A clean home is built in small, daily decisions. Here are 8 ‘gross’ things we don’t do in our house (and why) 1. WEARING OUTSIDE SHOES �Shoes track in bacteria, dirt, and all the nasty things you’ve collected from public spaces. What’s on the ground outside (for everyone) shouldn’t be in your home! We take off shoes at the door, and wear house shoes or socks indoors. 2. SITTING OR LAYING ON THE BED WITH OUTSIDE CLOTHES �Your clothes carry everything you brushed up against throughout the day, eeeeew! We change from outside clothes, the moment we get home. 3. FLUSHING THE 🚽 WITHOUT CLOSING THE LID�Flushing releases a fine mist of bacteria into the air and nearby surfaces. Closing the lid is a simple habit that protects your bathroom environment. 4. NOT WASHING BOTTLES REGULARLY �Even if it’s ‘just water’ moisture creates the perfect environment for bacteria to grow. Daily cleaning prevents buildup that can affect both hygiene and taste. 5.
