It’s been almost four months since I left my job, and I’m still trying to find a new normal 😅 You don’t realize how deeply the American work ethic is engrained in your own behaviors and subconscious until you’re completely disconnected from traditional work. I still feel very lost, but at the same time I feel more fulfilled. I’ve never been so scared and so excited at the same time. But more than anything, I just feel very confused, and one of my goals this year is decenter my identity from work, and relearn what it means to have a slow ambition.
