The side of New York no one really talks about… New York State is full of stunning gorges, waterfalls, lakes and forests so here are a few of my favorites that don’t get enough attention👇🏼 🧗 Ausable Chasm This natural gorge is nicknamed the Grand Canyon od the east and has a variety of outdoor activities to choose from including hiking, rock climbing, a via ferrata, rafting, and tubing trips 🔦 Howe Caverns This is a commercialized tour of a massive cavern that includes a 40-60 minute walking tour and a 15 minute boat ride 🌳 Letchworth State Park This spot is ALSO knowns as the Grand Canyon of the east and is a beautiful state park full of waterfalls and lush greenery 🔥 Eternal Flame This waterfall hike features an endlessly burning flame behind the water that’s to a natural gas leak.
