I bet you’ve never heard of this quiet mountain town just one hour outside of Mexico City Tepoztlán is thought to be the birthplace of an Aztec god and because of it, the entire area is thought to have calming and healing properties. I can see why because as soon as I arrived in Tepoztlán I instantly felt significantly calmer and relaxed. To get here you can drive, uber, taxi, or take a bus and I’d recommend staying at least one night so you’re able to do and see everything this place has to offer. The downtown is within walking distance of a National Park and there’s no shortage of Mountain View’s from all corners of this charming town.
