Via ferrata is Italian for “iron road” and is a protected climbing route with fixed cables that hikers are harnessed into allowing them to safely climb rock and mountain faces. The NROCKS via ferrata will have you summiting rock fins, walking across a 150ft suspension bridge, and taking in fall views in every direction. Round trip the adventure is about 1 mile long with 1,000ft of elevation gain!
You must book a guided tour to visit for $150 per person and the minimum age is 13. Gear and training is provided and you don’t need full rock climbing skills to do it but you do need to be comfortable with exposure and have reasonable fitness.
