They don’t call it the mountain with the world’s worst weather for nothing! The Mount Washington Cog Railway was built in 1869 and holds the title of the world’s first ever mountain climbing train. It climbs straight up to the summit of Mount Washington, a spot known for having some of the wildest weather on Earth. Most days the peak is completely covered in with clouds, but if you’re lucky enough to visit on one of the rare clear days (there are only about 15-20 a year!), I heard the views are beautiful! Tickets are $100 per person and the fall colors are peaking now so go asap if you want to leaf peep while you make the trip!
